Vascular lasers – Vbeam Perfecta

The Vbeam Perfecta is ideal for treating broken facial capillaries, rosacea, angiomas and superficial pigmented lesions. Used alone or in combination with the IPL and Duolite QS system, most facial redness, capillaries and pigmented blemishes can be well treated.
It targets haemoglobin in blood vessels and melanin in the skin. It produces clinical improvement by heating blood vessels and selectively destroying them by a process termed photothermolysis. Although results are very often seen after one treatment, multiple treatment sessions are generally necessary for optimal clearance.

Intense pulsed light

Intense pulsed light (IPL) or flashlamp therapy is a non-invasive and non-ablative treatment that uses high intensity pulses of visible light to improve the appearance of vascular lesions, including rosacea, read thread veins, as well as freckles and age marks, facial lines and wrinkles, removal of dark unwanted hair.

Q-switched Nd:Yag laser

Duolite QS is a system especially designed for the removal of tattoos and deep pigmented lesions.
It is widely regarded as the most versatile wavelength for tattoo removal, as it is highly absorbed by dark pigments, such as black and blue. With the low melanin absorption of this wavelength it brings increased safety and comfort.

ULTRAFORMER – Ultrasound energy

Fractional CO2 laser

Fractional CO2 laser treatment helps your skin regain its tone and reduces the appearance of fine wrinkles and acne scarring. The DEKA Smartxide DOT laser works through stimulating the skin with hundreds of tiny pillars of laser energy. These pillars penetrate the skin deep into the dermis, invigorating the body’s natural collagen production.
Microscopic spaces between the pin-point lasered sites allows the skin surface (epidermis) to heal far more quickly than traditional skin resurfacing methods, which have a long recovery time and lead to frequent complications.

Anti-wrinkle injections

Botulinum toxin is used to weaken and relax the facial muscles that are responsible for creating wrinkles around the forehead and eyes. Once the treated muscles are relaxed, they cannot be contracted, removing undesirable lines. Areas that are commonly treated with anti-wrinkle injections include lines on the forehead, frown lines in between your eyebrows and crow’s feet, radiating from the corner of the eye when you smile or squint.

Dermal fillers

Dermal fillers are effective in ‘filling’ static lines, or lines not caused by muscle movements of the ageing face. Dermal fillers, such as restylane, can also enhance facial contours by increasing volume in specific sites (for example, cheeks or lips). Dermal fillers are most commonly used on lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds, angles of the mouth and static wrinkles.

CoolSculpting

This non-invasive procedure is designed to reduce and remove stubborn fat, in particular the stomach, hips and back areas. There are no needles, lasers or surgery. Research found that fat cells are more vulnerable to the effects of cold than other surrounding tissues. CoolSculpting technology uses controlled cooling to target and kill only stubborn fat cells. In the weeks following the procedure, these fat cells are naturally eliminated from the body. The results are long term.

Skin peel

Young and healthy skin replaces old cells with new cells but, as we age, this natural exfoliating process starts to slow down. Chemical peeling assists this process, effectively mimicking the natural exfoliating process. It reduces wrinkles, age spots, sun damage and uneven pigmentation. There are a number of types of chemical peel techniques: light and medium facial peels are used to remove superficial wrinkles and discolouration. Generally, the deeper the chemical peel, the longer the recovery time required. Following a light facial peel, you may wear some makeup to conceal any redness. Medium and deep chemical peels may result in some swelling and light crusting of the skin, meaning some downtime followed by peeling, which can last up to two weeks.
Following any skin peel, your new skin will be sensitive, so it’s important to use maximum sun protection. Chemical peels can be repeated as necessary to achieve and maintain desired results.
