Conditions and treatments

Blood vessels and rosacea

Rosacea is a skin condition that affects many adults, most commonly in middle age. Diffuse redness of the face and fine capillaries can be treated effectively with vascular lasers and/or intense pulsed light (IPL) machines.

Freckles, age spots and pigmentation

Freckles are flat brown marks that vary in size and generally appear on the face and other areas exposed to the sun. They are more common in fair-skinned people, especially those with red hair, but freckles can affect darker skin types as well. Age spots commonly appear in middle age and are also the result of sun damage. They are commonly found on the face and hands, and are generally larger and more defined than freckles. These brown marks may be removed effectively by certain pigment lasers and intense pulsed light treatment that targets the melanin in the skin.

Facial Rejuvenation Treatments

Our skin loses its natural collagen and elastin fibres as we age, causing facial wrinkles and lines. Our facial shape, and contours, also change due to bone absorption and fat pad changes. You can reduce the effect of facial wrinkles and lines with a number of treatments we offer. Whatever your concerns and needs, our skilled cosmetic nursing team provide expert advice and guidance on the appropriate treatment for you to assist in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, restoring  volume loss and enhancing facial contours, helping you keep your natural look.
